We are seeking a highly analytical and technically savvy Senior Business Analyst [Consultant] to join our Credit Research Technology team. You will be embedded within a dynamic group focused on building innovative research and investment tools used by credit analysts and portfolio managers. Working closely with product owners, developers, and investment professionals, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that drive smarter investment decisions across our fixed income portfolios.

Your Impact

As a Senior Business Analyst [Consultant], you will:

• Lead the definition and delivery of business and system requirements to support credit research, model-driven analysis, and portfolio management tools.

• Serve as a key liaison between credit analysts, portfolio managers, and technology teams to ensure business needs are translated into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.

• Drive end-to-end documentation and stakeholder alignment across agile delivery cycles.

• Help shape the data strategy for credit research by integrating credit model data, issuer fundamentals, ESG inputs, and alternative datasets into the research ecosystem.

• Influence the firm’s digital transformation initiatives through delivery excellence and thought leadership

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis at a buy-side Fixed Income asset management firm

• Experience working directly with portfolio managers, traders, and credit analysts

• Deep understanding of credit research workflows

• PM or Scrum Master ability to drive projects and processes

• Experience working within an Agile environment

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders directly (capable of clearly translating technical issues into business context)

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and investment processes • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline

• Scrum Master certified

• CFA Certification or progress toward completion

• Familiarity with third-party credit platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI).

• AWS cloud experience

• SQL or Python querying ability for data exploration

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Exposure to machine learning or AI frameworks in financial modeling
