Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Shift Leader to oversee three shifts of maintenance group leaders and electrical/mechanical skilled tradespeople. This position is responsible for coordinating daily work assignments to support production schedules, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with standards. The leader will implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage workplace safety systems. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the role requires proactive engagement across shifts and departments to foster accountability and team buy-in. Will be managing 3 group leaders and 18–20 skilled trades, 1 group leader per shift with 6 skilled trades per shift. The role also includes training and development responsibilities for both hourly and salaried maintenance staff.

Skills and Requirements
5-7 years leadership, managing salaried individuals within high-volume manufacturing environment
Technical maintenance experience
Electrical/mechanical technical aptitude
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Ability to interpret technical documentation (schematics, blueprints, machine manuals)
Comfortable working 6:30 AM-3:30 PM B.S. in Engineering
Union leadership experience
