    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager for a leading local commercial and industrial mechanical contracting company. This individual will be instrumental in driving strategic growth by building relationships with general contractors and promoting the company’s capabilities in mission-critical environments. This is a client-facing role for someone who can confidently pitch services, understand technical requirements, and help secure high-value projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and key industry stakeholders.

    • Lead business development efforts focused on commercial, industrial, mechanical and mission-critical projects.

    • Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and pitch sessions.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs.

    • Support pre-construction efforts including estimating, budgeting, and proposal development.

    • Identify and pursue new project opportunities in the local market.

    • Track market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

    Skills and Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Background in Mechanical Contracting/Engineering.

    • 5–10 years of experience in business development, project management, pre-construction and/or estimating.

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience working in mission-critical environments such as data centers.

    • Proven track record of deal-making and client engagement.

    • Strong understanding of pre-construction processes and estimating.

    • Excellent communication.
