• Analytics Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer for a hybrid role based in St. Louis, with a flexible schedule (typically 8 AM – 5 PM CST). This contract position offers potential for temp-to-hire or extension. The engineer will work closely with planners and internal teams to define KPIs and gather data, which will be centralized and uploaded into Snowflake for reporting via Power BI. Responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing datasets and schemas, developing dashboards, ensuring data quality and security, and collaborating across IT and non-IT teams. The role requires strong technical skills, including Power BI (DAX, data modeling), Excel proficiency, and experience with Snowflake and SQL. Training will be provided by the manager and team members, with a 2–3 week onboarding period to get familiar with systems and workflows.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Strong background in analytics and working with datasets.

     

    - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (report building, DAX, data modeling).

     

    - Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

     

    - Proficiency in Excel.

     

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (IT and non-IT). - Prior Experience working with Snowflake

     

    - CPG Background

     

    - Basic scripting skills with Python
