    We’re seeking a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer to drive equipment performance, uptime, and asset longevity across our operations. In this role, you will develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, and provide hands-on troubleshooting for automation and electronic systems.

     

    You will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to improve OEE, reduce unplanned downtime, and plan strategic equipment upgrades, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reliability excellence.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to boost equipment uptime

    + Drive OEE and reliability improvement projects using TPM and Lean tools

    + Provide technical troubleshooting for automation, PLCs, and electronics

    + Support capital projects with reliability insights and ROI analysis

    + Mentor maintenance teams in reliability and troubleshooting best practices

    What You'll Bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering

    + 5–7 years’ experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within manufacturing

    + Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation, and industrial electronics

    + Proven success implementing TPM, RCM, or predictive maintenance programs

    + CMRP certification a plus

     

    The estimated hourly range for this position is $90K - $110K plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
