Job Summary:

Credentialed Trainers. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to established standards, and proficiency in using eLearning development tools and platforms. The specialist will contribute to the continuous improvement of eLearning courses through active collaboration and feedback. The position reports to the Epic Training Supervisor and works closely with Principal Trainers and the Epic eLearning Project Coordinator to achieve the goal of delivering online training in a timely manner.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Follows assigned schedules and timelines as determined by the eLearning Project Coordinator.

+ Provides updates to eLearning Project Coordinator on project development progress, flagging any potential delays.

+ Leads and actively participates in script reviews with Principal Trainers.

+ Collaborates directly with Principal Trainers to refine scripts ready for rebuild.

+ Effectively uses eLearning tools and platforms to develop eLearning projects, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement to eLearning Project Coordinator.

+ Seeks feedback and support from eLearning Project Coordinator as needed on technical development issues. All other issues should be address with their supervisor.

+ Maintains an awareness of emerging learning technologies.

+ Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

**Education** : Associate’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Project Management, Education or related field

**Skills** : eLearning design and development. Proficiency in a variety of learning technologies and tools including Captivate and Articulate and animation software such as Powtoons; experience with video and audio editing. Instructional design including use of formal design models such as ADDIE and SAM. Exceptional command of the English language. Keeps project progress moving forward, collaborating with Principal Trainers and the eLearning Project Coordinator to ensure project deadlines are met. Able to connect easily with others, build rapport, and nurture internal and external partnerships. Flexible and resilient to changes, able to adjust as necessary to changes or advances in technology, methodology, strategy, needs and company direction. Expert user in Microsoft Powerpoint.

**Years of Experience** : 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

**Education** : Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Project Management, Education or related field preferred

**Skills** : Epic experience, proficiency in a variety of learning technologies and tools including Captivate, Articulate, Well Said, and animation software such as Powtoons; experience with video and audio editing. Instructional design including use of formal design models such as ADDIE and SAM. Able to connect easily with others, build rapport, and nurture internal and external partnerships. Flexible and resilient to changes. Expert user of Microsoft Suite.

**Years of Experience** : 1-2 years of healthcare or Epic related experience.

**Certification** : Articulate
