The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

**Pay** : $26.00 hr

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• No experience required and on the job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Must be over 18 years of age.

+ Minimum 5-year experience with floor care (carpeting)

+ High school Diploma or G.E.D required.

+ Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

+ Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities:

Operate carpet cleaning machines, floor scrubbers, and other industrial cleaning equipment.

+ Strip, wax, and finish tile flooring according to facility standards.

+ Perform deep cleaning tasks in labs, offices, and other designated areas.

+ Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.

+ Maintain and inspect cleaning equipment to ensure proper functionality.

+ Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.

+ Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

+ Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supply usage.

+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

+ Exposure to cleaning chemicals and machinery noise.

+ Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.

+ May involve working in labs with sensitive equipment and materials.
