Description
As our Operations Planning Engineer Co-op, you’ll analyze future operating conditions on the Bulk Electric System and help determine safe and reliable paths for maintenance and new construction. Your work ensures MISO can prepare for the grid of tomorrow.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with:
+ Power system analysis tools and grid modeling software
+ Real-world contingency analysis and system studies
+ Model validation and operational project support

+ Completion of core Electrical Engineering courses
+ Preferred Skills:
+ Completion of classes in Power Systems Analysis
+ Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++)
+ Hands-on projects or internships related to grid modeling or system studies
