Position Description
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Study of Antisemitism. This two-year post-doctoral fellowship will be awarded to a candidate whose work contributes directly to the study of antisemitism: its antecedents, history, causes and effects, and contemporary manifestations, as well as efforts to address it.
The successful candidate will have completed a doctoral dissertation on antisemitism or a closely related subject and will propose a research project that will illuminate aspects of historic and/or current antisemitism. The recipient will be affiliated with the Center for Jewish Studies, the Julis-Rabinowitz Program on Jewish and Israeli Law at Harvard Law School, and/or appropriate Programs, Institutes, Centers, Departments, or Schools.
The application process will be open to both internal members of the Harvard community as well as external applicants.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, but review of applications begins November 15, 2025.
Basic Qualifications
Applicants must have a doctoral degree from a discipline in the humanities or the social sciences (e.g., SJD , EdD, MD, JD, PsyD, ThD). A PhD is preferred.
