Job Overview
Responsibilities
The **IT Infrastructure Administrator** will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security of systems that support our staff and clients’ needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and a compassionate understanding of the unique requirements of a behavioral health setting. Additional responsibilities include:
+ Manage and maintain all networking hardware, servers, and associated technology to ensure high availability and reliability.
+ Oversee the installation, configuration, and support of IT systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, and other data communication systems.
+ Patch and update network and server systems as needed to maintain a strong security posture.
+ Ensure data privacy and compliance with health information regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
+ Provide technical support and training for staff, addressing any IT-related queries or issues promptly.
+ Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
+ Collaborate with program leadership to assess and address the technological needs of the organization.
+ Stay abreast of new technologies and propose upgrades and improvements to keep the infrastructure modern and secure.
Requirements
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Will consider appropriate experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
Knowledge/Skills:
+ Strong understanding of network infrastructure, database systems, and cloud services.
+ Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare data.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on service orientation.
+ Familiar with ITIL Framework
Licenses/Certifications:
+ MandatoryReporterofChild/DependentAdultAbuseCertificationortheabilityto obtain within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter required.
