    The Ames Middle School coaching staff is looking for an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026 season.

     

    Work Schedule: During the season, the work schedule will be 4:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday. Longer evening hours will be required on game days. Responsibilities:

     

    + Assists Head Coaches in running a competitive boy's basketball program.

    + Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.

    + Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.

    + Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.

    + Creates a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment for all athletes and families.

    + Onsite work required.

    + Assists with other duties as assigned.

     

    Required Qualifications: A current Department of Education Coaching Authorization.
