The Opportunity: Part-Time Night Shift MRI Technologist (0.6 FTE)

We are seeking a dedicated **Part-Time MRI Technologist (0.6 FTE)** to join our collaborative night team at **PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center i** n **Vancouver, Washington** . Position Details & Total Rewards

+ **Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM.** This fixed night shift schedule gives you full days off during the traditional work week, promoting personal rest, family time, and the ability to focus on non-work activities.

Focused Duties: Night Shift Precision and Patient Care

We deliver care with purpose and precision. Your role as a Night Shift MRI Technologist will involve:

+ Prepare the MRI suite and equipment for immediate use in trauma and emergent cases.

+ Integrate patient history, medical records, and previous studies to optimize the examination plan.

+ Consult with physicians to ensure the most appropriate and effective examination is performed.

+ Operate the MRI scanner and related systems (PACS/RIS) to acquire, reconstruct, and document high-quality images.

+ Ensure patient, visitor, and caregiver safety by strictly applying the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices.

+ Provide clear patient instruction, comfort, and consistent, compassionate care throughout the night.

What You Bring & What We Value

+ Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

+ Certifications: ARRT - Radiography, ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ARRT - Sonography, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or American Registry of MRI Technologists Certification required upon hire. ARRT(MR) certification required within 6 months of hire. BLS required.

+ Experience: Demonstrated venipuncture competency and knowledge of MRI terminology/cross-sectional anatomy.

+ Skills: Competency in computer-based MR applications and PACS/RIS knowledge.
