* Job Summary:* The Safety Manager will be responsible for administering and implementing the Health and Safety programs that ensure compliance with statutory requirements to promote safe and healthy working conditions. Performs complex assignments, maintains schedules, directs professional team members and contractors, and follows the direction of the designated client representative. The Safety Manager will support, create, manage, and implement health and safety policies and procedures. * Duties & Essential Job Functions:* 1. Manages day-to-day project safety initiatives including the scheduling of audit support of the project. 2. Provide oversight of regulations and policies. 3. Assist with development of site-specific plans and procedures covering a variety of safety issues. 4. Implement site safety plans and procedures. 5. Coordinate collection and analysis of safety metrics throughout the year. 6. Lead Incident Investigations. 7. Collect data, establish facts, perform root cause analysis and draw valid conclusions. 8. Prepare required documentation and incident reporting and create safety alerts. 9. Develop hazard mitigation practices while overseeing site projects. 10. Monitor, maintain, and implement Safety Management System programs to ensure compliance in accordance with company, local, state, and federal regulations. 11. Observe and ensure implementation of Safe Work Practices on site including compliance with site safety requirements. 12. Evaluate hazards in work tasks, work environments, and JSA/JHA’s with team. 13. Conduct or coordinate the scheduling of any safety training required. * Qualifications:* * Required:* 1. COSS, COSM, CHST, or GSP or closely related field from an accredited university or a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Construction Safety and 1-3 years’ experience in Safety Management 2. Must have knowledge of Safety Management System Portals (Ex. ISN, Avetta, DISA, PEC) 3. TWIC, Basic Plus Safety. 4. High School Diploma or GED. 5.
