    We are seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Technical Lead/ Architect to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise across the Guidewire suite—particularly BillingCenter, PolicyCenter (PC), and ClaimCenter (CC)—and a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within the cloud environment. This role requires both hands-on technical proficiency and leadership capability to mentor team members and drive end-to-end project success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead the design, configuration, and integration of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design workflows, and deliver optimized system enhancements.

    + Manage full SDLC activities, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

    + Support and maintain applications using version control tools such as TortoiseSVN or GitHub and deployment tools like Jenkins.

    + Oversee defect management and project tracking using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

    + Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting needs.

    + Work with SOAP and RESTful web services, XML, XSD, plugins, and messaging for seamless integration between systems.

    + Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage code releases, and ensure adherence to CI/CD best practices.

    + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.

    + Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering excellence and best practices.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

    + Proven experience leading technical teams in the Guidewire BillingCenter domain.

    + Mandatory experience with PolicyCenter Cloud and deep knowledge of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter features.

    + Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire configuration, integration, and performance tuning.

    + Expertise in Agile development, CI/CD processes, and release management.

    + Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Experience in production support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Guidewire BillingCenter applications.

    + Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) and source control (TortoiseSVN, GitHub).

    + Familiarity with Insurance Application Architecture (IAA) model and property & casualty insurance business processes.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

    + Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

    + Ability to analyze complex problems, debug efficiently, and recommend best practices for system improvements.

    + Prior experience coaching and mentoring junior developers.
