LHB Industries is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician with working experience in quality in a manufacturing environment.     JOB SUMMARY:

    Performs routine quality inspections in accordance with the organizations procedures to assure that products meet high standards of quality and customer specifications.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform inspections throughout all phases of manufacturing to ensure that products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.

    + Inspect critical incoming raw materials and components and assist receiving department with QC documentation.

    + Review documentation (work instructions, labels, assembly specifications, etc.) to be sure it meets customer specifications, ISO 9001 standard, ISO 13485 standard and FDA regulatory compliance considerations.

    + Interact effectively with QC Coordinator, QHSE Manager, Production Coordinators, Warehouse Coordinators, Production Set-up Coordinator, and Production Manager in order to resolve quality issues.

    + Accurate, concise, and timely communication with supervision and managers as required.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

    + Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.

    + Independent coordinating, problem solving and prioritizing skills, detail oriented and thorough.

    + Ability to work well with people of varied backgrounds and abilities.

    + Ability to use physical measurement instruments (thermometers, scales, calipers, etc.) after initial training.

    + Possess fundamental understanding of inspection functions and a quality control system along with the necessary documentation.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + High School diploma required. Associate degree or equivalent in a technical area (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.

    + Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment required. Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP preferred.
