Your Responsibilities

As a **Product Engineer - Operator Station Seats and Ergonomics** for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:

+ Create seat systems and ergonomic components that meet safety, comfort, and performance standards for various machine platforms.

+ Apply ergonomic principles to ensure optimal operator posture, reachability, and visibility across diverse machines.

+ Work closely with other design engineer, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers to integrate seat designs into vehicle platforms while balancing cost, weight, and manufacturability.

What Skills You Need

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in off-road equipment design, specifically in cabs, structures, engines, cooling systems, or hydraulic systems.

+ Proficiency in 3D modeling tools, such as Creo.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and interpersonal styles.

+ Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

What Makes You Standout

+ Cross-functional experience in PVV (Product Verification and Validation), structural evaluation, reliability engineering, supplier quality, and/or manufacturing teams.

+ Familiarity with John Deere's Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).

+ Proficiency in using Windchill, Vision, and other internal John Deere tools

Education

+ Bachelor's degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related experience
