Davis Tool is seeking an experienced professional who will manage the Human Resources function. This position reports to and works closely with the Controller.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manage HR team
+ Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs to protect company and employee interests in accordance with company policies and government laws and regulations
+ Interact when required with managers and employees regarding HR compliance issues and concerns
+ Work professionally with other departments, employees, customers, and suppliers to solve problems
+ Help identify and resolve informational discrepancies or procedural issues
+ Make non-routine choices within established guidelines, with minimal supervision
+ Extensively use office/spreadsheet and company database software applications
+ 401(k) administration to include 5500 testing, 401K audit and interacting with auditors
+ Develop and implement employee benefit programs
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
+ Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, MBA preferred
+ 3 years of HR experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ 1 year experience managing employees
+ Professional confidentiality and discretion in handling company and employee information
+ Experience creating policies, procedures, and work instructions
+ Very proficient and comfortable with spreadsheets, payroll, and office software
+ Leadership experience
+ Demonstrated record of increasing responsibility
Salary: Depends on Experience
