    Overview

     

    PRN As Needed

     

    Coordinates the scheduling, insurance verification and registration functions for the department. Inputs charges for the department to central billing office. May also serve as a receptionist for the department.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for receiving customer calls regarding patient bills and initiate phone contact/letters to patients with past due accounts to collect payment.

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Medical Terminology preferred. Previous collection or hospital business office experience is preferred.
