    The Customer Digital Profile and Consent Product line is led out of Ford's Global Data, Insights and Analytics (GDIA) skill team. This product line develops and manages a set of customer-facing products that are real-time, high-throughput, and global in nature. These products provide key functionality for customer facing applications such as Ford Pass/Lincoln Way and eCommerce. The products enable the use of connected vehicle information for insights creation, enhanced customer experiences, and compliance with regulations pertaining to customer data privacy and consent.

    Our key products include:

    • Digital Account Platform (CAP Global & CAP China): An Enterprise account management ecosystem providing a best-in-class consumer experience by managing online profile, vehicle, and address book information in real-time for both authenticated and guest experiences.

    • CLIMES (Central Legal Information Management System): The master system for consumer-facing legal language text, as well as purposes of use for both customer consent and internal data usage.

    • Consent Platform: The master system of record for all consumer consent globally, encompassing multiple transactional and data products.

     

    In this position...

     

    As a key leader within the Integrated Services Product Group at GDIA, you will own the strategic direction and operational success of the Customer Digital Profile & Consent Platform Product Line. This mission-critical platform powers connected vehicle functionality, enhances customer experiences across digital touchpoints, and ensures compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will drive product innovation, technical excellence, and operational integrity, collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, data-driven, customer-centric digital experiences globally.

    What you’ll do...

     

    • Product Management

    • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for the Customer Digital Profile and Consent Platform, ensuring alignment with Ford's overall business objectives and customer-centric goals.

    • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap development to feature prioritization, delivery, and continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

    • Utilize data-driven approaches, including product experiments, user interviews, and metrics analysis, to gather customer feedback, validate assumptions, and continuously improve the product experience.

    • Champion innovation by spearheading automation, process improvements, and lifecycle management initiatives that optimize product delivery and foster a culture of reuse and deprecation.

    • Site Reliability Engineering & Technical Excellence

    • Drive technical excellence and site reliability for high-throughput, real-time, global platforms, championing scalable architectures, cloud technologies (GCP), automation, and robust operational practices to ensure performance, security, and compliance.

    • Guide the engineering of highly scalable, maintainable, and performant software platforms utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and evolutionary architecture principles.

    • Measure and optimize system performance proactively, anticipating customer needs and pushing enterprise capabilities forward with innovative resilience strategies and by reducing operational toil via automation.

    • Lead root cause analysis of production incidents, implement preventive measures, and conduct blameless postmortems to continuously improve system reliability and design.

    • People Management & Stakeholder Management

    • Cultivate a high-performing team culture through mentorship, clear communication, and effective stakeholder management, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment across diverse internal and external partners.

    • Mentor and guide team members through technical and operational challenges, driving continuous growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and high-performance.

    • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders, securing alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

    • Seamlessly manage escalations and influence appropriately across diverse stakeholder groups, acting as a champion of change and fostering effective collaboration..

    You’ll have…

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

    • 5+ years experience managing large-scale distributed systems and complex platform products, including cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) deployments and architectural leadership.

    • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and using tools like Jira.

    • Strong technical foundation including Test-Driven Development (TDD), API design, microservices, and cloud-based architecture.

    • Proven ability to drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap development aligned with business priorities and regulatory compliance.

    • Data-driven with strong analytical skills, adept at using customer insights, experiments, and metrics to inform product decisions.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experienced in working across global, matrixed teams.

    Even better, you may have…

    • 3+ years leading multi-functional, multi-team projects or large engineering teams.

    • Experience in platform/product scalability, reliability engineering, and operational excellence, including defining/monitoring SLOs/SLAs.

    • Familiarity with cloud orchestration, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines), and automation.

    • Expertise in Customer Digital Profile, Consent & Privacy management, data governance, AI/ML integration, or embedded software.

    • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities and matrixed reporting structures.
