What You'll Do
We’re seeking an **Art Director** to join our **Content Studio** , where you’ll bring our brand to life through thoughtful, high-impact creative across marketing collateral, event materials, presentations, digital graphics, and more! This role defines and elevates our brand aesthetic across diverse mediums, balancing creative vision with strategic intent.
You’ll take on broad and challenging assignments that require originality, design expertise, and sound judgment, with the opportunity to work independently and guide others in delivering exceptional creative outcomes.
Here are some examples of what you'll be doing:
+ Design graphics, text, and layouts for digital and print marketing collateral, high-profile presentations, event materials, and various other types of marketing and branded materials.
+ Collaborate with design team and managers to ensure alignment on brand consistency and design quality. Serve as a designer or art director based on project requirements.
+ Collaborate with account managers on strategy, timelines, specs, and final output.
+ Identify and influence process improvements in the designer's workflow. Review materials built by team members, vendors, and other business areas to ensure a consistent visual brand approach.
+ Evolve, define, train, and distribute various components of the visual brand (e.g., icons, illustrations, design styles, and treatments).
+ Stay current on design trends and creative technology trends and updates.

Who You Are
+ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field with 4+ years of professional experience; AIGA-accredited program preferred.
+ Highly imaginative designer skilled in translating ideas and creative briefs into high-quality, visually compelling deliverables.
+ Deep experience developing and applying visual brand systems, design guidelines, and standards across multiple platforms and media. Proven ability to guide clients toward strategic branding and marketing solutions.
+ Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft PowerPoint; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with motion design/Adobe After Effects, responsive design principles, or HTML/CSS is a plus.
+ Proficient in layout, typography, content hierarchy, storytelling, and image/illustration editing.
+ Strong understanding of how creative work aligns with enterprise goals and industry trends.
+ Works effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments; able to manage multiple priorities with precision, attention to detail, and quality focus.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a commitment to staying current on creative trends and technologies.
+ Experience in both marketing/advertising agencies and in-house agencies preferred.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$71250 - $95950 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers in-office/hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) in our headquarters office in Des Moines, IA.
