Actuarial Intern

Our Actuary Division is seeking an Actuarial Intern to join our team\! The intern will support research efforts aimed at developing evaluations and conducting experience analyses for health insurance products, including areas such as risk adjustment, pricing, and valuation\. The ideal candidate is a proactive self\-starter with proficiency in Microsoft Office\. Actuary, mathematics, finance, or statistics majors preferred\. Internships generally offer a minimum of 20 hours/week and typically 40 hours/week during the summer months\. This paid position will start in May 2026 and offers a Monday\-Friday work schedule during the hours of 8:00 a\.m\. – 5:00 p\.m\. EST\. Job Qualifications
_Education_
+ Active college student \(in an accredited college or university\) who has completed a minimum of two years of college are eligible\.
+ Recent college graduates and students enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program \(in an accredited college or university\) are also eligible\.
+ Must provide transcripts\.
+ Active full\-time BCBST employees are not eligible to participate in the program\.

_Skills/Certifications_
+ Able to prioritize, work independently, and effectively manage time and resources\.
+ Effective communication skills: written and verbal\.

+ Appropriate decision making skills required\.
GPA requirement
+ Must have a 2\.75 GPA or higher
