Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This role works directly with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans. Responsibilities
+ Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly
+ Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
+ Adapt procedures to meet the age-specific needs of patients
+ Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
+ Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care
+ Support a safe, patient-centered environment in line with “First Do No Harm” principles
Education
+ Required: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
+ Preferred: Associate Degree
+ Inpatient requirement: Graduate of a JCERT-accredited school of Radiology and/or military health system program
+ Certification Path:
+ If not CT-registered, must complete ARRT post-primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles)
Experience
+ Preferred: One year of experience in CT scanning
Licensure/Certification NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
+ + NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
+ NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
+ IV Credentialed, required.
+ Applicable state license, required.
