Conagra Brands is looking for a Sanitation Technician to join our growing team! Joining our Quality Team, you will report to The Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of 14. You will support the plant sanitation in the use of cleaning processes. You will work onsite at our plant in Waterloo, Iowa. Known as "The Pudding Plant", our Waterloo Plant produces Snack Pack Pudding and David's Sunflower Seeds for consumers all across the world! You will join a long tenured and experienced crew while receiving on the job training before doing the role independently. We are a tobacco free facility.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7am - 3pm | Additional hours may be required based on our needs such as early mornings, nights or weekends.

Starting Pay: $34.60/hour

Essential Functions:

+ You will implement sanitation assurance programs including pest control and plant regulatory compliance

+ Complete cleaning tasks throughout all phases of the sanitation process

+ Partner with all levels of production employees to ensure compliance with our sanitation requirements including providing coaching on the importance of a clean work environment.

+ You will lead teams to guide sanitation knowledge and participate in plant continuous improvement activities

+ Represent the plant in many roles for all audits including Pest Control, GMP, Vendor and Customer.

+ You'll complete Quality Documentation

+ You will lead the plant during large plant sanitation issues including microbiological and environmental.

+ You will identify reoccurring problems that could affect product quality/safety and eliminate the future of those problems

Required Education and Experience:

+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

+ 2+ years of previous food production experience

It would be great if you also had:

+ Associate's Degree in Microbiology, Biology or a similar field

+ 2+ years of SAP Experience

+ 1 year of Vendor/Audit Experience

+ 1 year of exposure to change management/continuous improvement/root-cause analysis

Work Environment Requirements:

+ You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions including moderate noise levels.

+ You will lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

+ You will move within office and manufacturing facilities, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
