Job Description

+ Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Client Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.

+ Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

+ Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

+ Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance

+ Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations

+ Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework

+ Execute quality build plan changes

+ Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances

+ Perform engineering change review and verification

+ Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering and/or a Technical discipline

+ 3+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry

+ 3+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

+ Microsoft Office Suit

+ Experience with SQL

+ Experience TOAD

Education / Experience:

+ Due to Client education requirements please make sure all submitted candidates have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
