    THE WORK

    You will independently set up test apparatus and execute comprehensive testing of electronic assemblies and units, adhering to established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences while applying extensive specialized knowledge to both general and detailed aspects of the role\.

     

    Leveraging a broad, advanced understanding of test equipment, you will lay out and assemble production electronic equipment according to precise designs and specifications, determine appropriate test types, and recommend or approve modifications to testing tools and procedures to address complex problems\.

     

    Adjustments, calibrations, and system modifications are performed with minimal supervision; the technician will add, remove, or alter components per detailed diagrams, troubleshoot sophisticated malfunctions, and implement advanced corrective actions, including part replacement and system re‑engineering\.

     

    Utilizing hand and power tools alongside a variety of precision measuring and testing devices, you analyze test results to evaluate product performance, drive technical improvements, and contribute to the design and development of new test procedures\.

     

    In collaboration with engineers, the technician will help refine testing methodologies, propose product or manufacturing enhancements, and may mentor lower‑level technicians, providing guidance and leadership to ensure quality standards are met in accordance with statistical process control and other quality assurance practices\.

    Level 3 Technician Specialists generally have 3\+ years of related experience\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3\+ years of related experience

    • High School diploma

    • Analytical, problem\-solving and critical\-thinking skills\.

    • Basic electrical engineering is required\.

    • Familiar with the use of standard hand tools\.

    Desired Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills\.

    • Ability to define problems verbally and in writing\.

    • Has the ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic devices\.

    • Electrical Troubleshooting and Testing and experience with Linux OS\.

    • Familiarization with operating platforms such as SILC, EPDM, Solumina, IDP Tracker\.

    • Familiar with Statements of Volatility processes\.

    • Experience working with Sonar systems/subsystems\.

    • Experience implementing engineering changes\.

    • Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software in

    • Acoustic Rapid Commercial Insertion \(ARCI\) systems\.

    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills\.

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
