    The **Outreach Nurse Navigator, JTCC** guides patients through the health care system by conducting community outreach and education and promoting cancer preventive screenings for our catchment area comprising the JTCC catchment area. The navigator works in partnership with the Outreach, Research and JTCC clinical teams to proactively identify and provide for patients' needs. This role plays a key role in establishing and maintaining JTCC's reputation in the community and trust with the patient. Often the first contact with the patient, this role is critical in ensuring that patients are informed of critical cancer screenings, are not lost to barriers or unable to receive services.

     

    + BSN degree from an accredited college or university

    + NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License

    + Excellent organization skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

    + Ability to carry out written and oral instructions

    + Ability to exercise judgment in the application of professional services

    + Experience with Data collection/management /analysis

    + Experience service in low-income communities preferred

    Minimum rate of $111,924.80 Annually

    + Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.

    + Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

     

    Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
