JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

DUTIES: Perform both functional and non-functional testing for Marketplace integrations. Create test plans, implementing test strategies and test scripts and their respective user requirements. Develop manual and automated test scripts for Marketplace integrations and maintain them in the JIRA and Zephyr tools. Create complex test data based on requirements and calculate risk score of the customer based on multiple criteria for various marketplace partners. Perform end-to-end testing for Marketplace partner integrations modules. Participate in Scrum meetings, including providing story points for User Stories during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and distribution of tasks. Validate cash flows and reconciliation efforts for various Marketplace orders processing. Validate rules for integrating server-side code with Marketplace components using JSON and XML against Open API services. Perform Functional Testing, Data Driven Testing, Load Testing and Validate webservices using Postman and/or JMeter. Structure, build, and execute scalable automated test suites for API validations. Perform automation regression test cases for 7-Eleven’s Web, Mobile, Tab and customer application using Postman (Newman) collection. Support pre- and post-release support for functional code deployments. Develop Web Service testing and automation. Write JavaScript Automation code to verify the trigger logic of the questions triggered based on User acceptance. Troubleshoot batch processes, and use logs via AWS Services, Lambda and CloudWatch. Validate various backend databases with complex JSON and SQL queries and record the test results in Zephyr. Implementing npm-packages and WebPack setup for building and generating sandbox script files and test data. Generate/validate store reports and SOR files for accounting audits, of the processed orders. Provide QA signoffs with support test results and test data for business users. Participate in sprint retrospective meetings to streamline workflows.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Manual Testing, and Automation Testing using Java and JavaScript, and Database Testing using SQL, Oracle and NoSQL, including MongoDB. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Analyst or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience in the skillsets stated above. Experience therein to include 2 years of experience in Performance Testing using JMeter. Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.
