Primary Purpose
Under limited supervision performs analytical, clerical or other office type work which will require the exercise of judgment and individual initiative. Work of this position may include any one or more of the primary duties listed below, or other work of comparable nature as business needs dictate.
Primary Duties
+ Routinely assesses the needs of external and internal customers to determine a best approach to resolution (examples of this are but are not limited to the following: corresponds with customers either personally, by telephone, or by written/electronic correspondence).
+ Routinely supports, maintains, and coordinates the applicable departmental processes to provide quality customer service.
+ Supports division/department operations in the timely preparation, maintenance, and coordination of the processes within the Distribution Engineering, Pepco Operations, or other Pepco Regional processes.
+ Daily usage of applicable corporate computer systems.
+ Routinely demonstrates the principles of safety, diversity, teamwork, and development/training of coworkers.
+ Ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making with a high degree of initiative and self-coordination.
+ Communicates effectively and drives document management compliance, quality, and timeliness. Communicates in all directions as a task-oriented employee who routinely works independently.
+ Makes recommendations and implements work practices for process improvements and streamlining.
+ Supports the emergency restoration efforts as set forth in the Storm Restoration Plan.
+ Directs and instructs other service associates as required.
+ Performs clerical duties as required by the division/department to meet business needs.
+ May be required to do work of a clerical nature outside of their immediate division/department but within the Pepco Region.
+ Performs analytical and clerical duties (once trained to do so) regardless of where they are in the Service Associate progression.
+ Assist BU Employees/Supervisors/Managers with eTime, PTO payroll charging issues, and other eTime duties (OT rosters, vacation/burden schedules, etc.).
+ Track vehicle assignments, assist Supervisors with vehicle maintenance schedules, update Verizon Telogis, provide additional insurance certificates, inspection stickers, collect/scan daily inspection sheets, and manage spare vehicle keys.
+ Monitor material requests (MRs) and reconcile against M320 reports (Productivity Initiative).
+ Must maintain and complete annual training to become a
+ Perform various entry/mid-level administrative support functions to include, but not limited to: - D.DOT Permits - L1900 Staffing Rosters - Tyndale - Kelmar (Vision, Medical, CDL Support) - Crane Requests
+ Prepare, organize, and submit damage claims for the department service centers.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Educational Requirement - High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have 2 years of clerical experience or must have had other training or experience equally acceptable to the Company.
+ Must have a working knowledge of Windows based computer systems.
+ Must be able to exercise judgment acceptable to the Company using a considerable degree of skill and mental capability.
+ Must have a valid Driver's License.
+ Must be willing and able to work extra hours when required.
+ Must be willing to travel to other company locations when required.
+ Must be able to pass entry-level test(s) if applicable, prior to Company awarding job.
+ Employee must be able to pass progression testing, if and when developed.
+ Ability to read, write and speak effectively in the English language.

+ Hourly rates will be paid in accordance with terms of the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience or collective bargaining agreement: $42.37/Hr.
