    The Distribution Affiliate Operations team is looking for an Operations Coordinator to support day to day operations and database management, providing Affiliate technical support as required. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple databases and projects while maintaining careful attention to detail.

    Responsibilities

    + Engage in direct communication with affiliate partners to assist in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues including but not limited to related to signal delivery, signal quality, closed captions and local advertising breaks. Escalate issues in a timely manner and to the appropriate teams as needed.

    + Resolve discrepancies with affiliate engineers/partners, affiliate launch managers and internal teams to ensure accurate information is received and input for each affiliate network launch.

    + Monitor distribution platforms and devices to ensure content availability, especially during special and live events. Set up STB DVR recordings and/or monitor high profile broadcasts. Utilize social media skimming tools (if applicable) to detect viewer reported issues for review.

    + Work with supervisor to identify data discrepancy issues and maintain data integrity including data cleanup.

    + Provide support for blackout implementation across professional sports leagues and WM networks (domestic and international). Ensure compliance with blackout mandates and assist affiliates and/or off-site teams during blackout events.

    + Special projects – Contribute to special initiatives such as satellite realignments and business systems data integration.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree required; preference for related fields such as Communications, Journalism, or Broadcasting Engineering.

    + 1-3 years of database experience in an operations or customer support role preferred.

    + Position hours are 11am-8pm and requires periodic shift hours, including weekends and evenings to monitor blackouts and signal integrity.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including excel.

    + Strong analytical, written and verbal skills are required.

    + Candidate must be articulate, extremely detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    + Must possess a high level of self-motivation, commitment, and demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness.

    + Cable industry experience or experience in a technical support role a plus.

    + Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $41,991.00 - $77,983.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
