Cleveland Clinic's Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we're looking to add an Environmental Services Manager to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect.

A caregiver in this position works onsite, Monday-Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, with weekend and holiday coverage.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Manage the technical and administrative functions of the assigned EVS function.

+ Implement short- and long-term goals consistent with those of EVS and clinical units.

+ Manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.

+ Interpret and ensure compliance with all appropriate codes and standards.

+ Provide direct supervision of assigned EVS team members.

+ Ensure that all members have a performance management program.

+ Ensure that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.

+ Perform regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members.

+ Assist with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral.

+ Participate in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.

+ Increase efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ A high school diploma or GED.

+ Four years of hospitality or housekeeping experience including two years of management experience. A bachelor's degree may substitute two years of management experience.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Healthcare experience.

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Personal Protective Equipment:

+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $30.41

Maximum hourly: $46.38
