    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

     

    This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

     

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs to keep our facilities in outstanding condition.

    + Tackle daily tasks such as addressing plumbing issues, replacing ceiling tiles, maintaining floors, painting, moving desks, and changing light bulbs.

    + Conduct routine maintenance inspections to diagnose potential problems and implement repairs successfully.

    + Assist with installing and modifying building equipment to meet our high standards.

    + Review assigned work orders and use our systems to track and ensure timely completion.

    + Support energy management initiatives by optimizing the efficiency of all building systems.

    + Inspect existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

    + Apply existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems effectively.

    + Make a significant impact on the team through your defined duties and methods.

    + Deliver your output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.

    What You’ll Need:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent experience, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience will be considered.

    + Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required.

    + Capability to handle physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting/carrying 50+ lbs.

    + Capability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of your tasks.

    + Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Strong organizational skills with a curious approach to addressing challenges.
