About the Role:
As a CBRE Global Monitoring Technician, you will manage infrastructure resources by monitoring system platforms and information technology operations.
This job is part of the System Engineering job function. They are responsible for successfully executing and monitoring software design requirements and improvements to increase efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
• Troubleshoot system service failures by identifying and analyzing the situation and provides corrective actions.
• Develop, install, and test new network hardware and software releases, and system upgrades.
• Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
• Provide expertise on decisions and priorities on systems architecture.
• Engage with application development teams on current infrastructure projects.
• Help the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions.
• Support all the various web applications and related systems such as search engines and web servers and middleware components.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global Monitoring Technician position is $30 per hour and the maximum salary for the Global Monitoring Technician position is $36 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
