Job Overview

Sets up and operates machines and tools to perform various manufacturing operations and maintains them to adhere to quality standards.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate a wide range of machines including drill presses and other equipment.

+ Install and adjust safety devices to ensure proper machine setup.

+ Perform production work and diversified assembly involving close tolerances and multiple components.

+ Use hand and power tools to assemble and clean parts and relays.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and templates.

+ Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to verify part quality.

+ Maintain production records and notify when stock is low.

+ Select correct stock and manage inventory in the machine shop storeroom.

+ Deliver and retrieve materials and equipment across departments.

+ Maintain die and tool condition; reorder as needed.

+ Train other employees and participate in team-based problem solving.

What your background should look like

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Clear a background check and drug screening.

+ Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance

+ Completed ESD training

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic mathematics.

+ Experience with major and minor machine operations.

+ Familiarity with a variety of measurement instruments.

+ Knowledge of materials and tools used in a machine shop environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $47,819 – $49,316 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
