+ The Analyst/ Sr Analyst, Business Intelligence is part of the Tech Ops Workforce team within the Tech Ops Division.
+ This role focuses on delivering BI solutions and actionable insights to enhance productivity among American Airlines’ Aviation Mechanic Technician workforce.
+ As part of a collaborative team of Data Scientists and BI Analysts, the BI Analyst will drive performance improvements through data storytelling, demand modeling, and task standardization, contributing to scorecard development and strategic decision-making.

+ Manage projects to enhance and develop data, models, and analytic processes that support Technical Operations
+ Works effectively with cross functional teams to perform QA reviews and solution testing on BI solutions
+ Develop reporting and Ad-hoc analysis
+ Support buildout and maintenance of PowerBi scorecards; modeling and wireframe design
+ Training and supporting systems end users on using developed dashboards.
+ Work streamlined with team of Data Scientists to analyze and develop our performance management story
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Operational Research, etc. or equivalent training/experience
+ Prior experience in the following: SQL, Teradata or Databricks, and BI Tools such as Tableau or Power BI
+ 3 years’ experience querying, managing, and organizing large data sets and applying quantitative reasoning to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ MS, MBA, or other advanced degree in technical, quantitative, or business discipline
+ Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Microsoft Power BI Analyst preferred.
