The Senior Manager, Co-Brand Acquisition Strategy leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive new customer acquisition and account growth for the Citi/AAdvantage co-brand credit card portfolio. This role is responsible for optimizing acquisition performance across digital and direct channels, leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results and long-term customer loyalty.

• Lead the strategy and execution of new customer acquisition and account growth for the Citi/AAdvantage co-brand portfolio, a key driver of revenue and loyalty.
• Develop and deliver annual acquisition plans across digital and direct channels, aligned with business goals and partner priorities.
• Optimize channel performance by leveraging data insights from American Airlines, Citi, and Mastercard to drive growth and efficiency.
• Design and implement strategic marketing programs to increase acquisitions and portfolio engagement, measuring performance against targets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to define optimal offers, targeting strategies, and customer segmentation.
• Develop and refine segmentation strategies to deliver personalized offers that maximize conversion across AA-owned channels.
• Monitor competitive landscape and evolving customer preferences to inform acquisition strategy and maintain market relevance.
• Identify and build business cases for new acquisition channels and placements to expand reach and drive incremental growth.
• Own the measurement, reporting, and optimization of portfolio performance, marketing plans, and budgets.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of experience in acquisition strategy, marketing, or loyalty program management
• Proven success in managing strategic partnerships and driving measurable growth
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Graduate level education in relevant field
• 7-10 years successful partnerships and financial analysis experience
• Experience in financial services, travel, or loyalty marketing preferred
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance optimization and budget management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
