Our NJ Region is looking for a Chief Engineer - QA/QC who embodies this purpose. This individual could be located in any of our 3 NJ offices (Warren, Red Bank or Ridgewood):

What You'll Do:

+ Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects

+ Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process:

+ Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processes

+ Completion of Quality Checklists for design

+ Reviewing site/civil design plans and calculations throughout the project life cycle

+ Detailing consistency

+ Constructability review

+ Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA/QC procedure

+ Providing recommendations on individual projects to mitigate risk for our clients throughout design and construction.

+ Assist design team in support of construction administration services for design projects

+ Be a resource for project teams, answer questions, provide one-on-one training and oversight when needed for staff

+ Complies with all policies and standard

+ Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred

+ 15+ years of experience in site/civil design

+ Proficient with New Jersey land development procedures, regulations, and codes

+ A passion for, and experience with, site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others

+ Attention to detail

+ Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred

Salary $125,000 - $175,000. Total compensation will be determined by other considerations such as experience, qualifications and educational background. This position is eligible for potential annual bonus earnings.
