    As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Full-Time** in **Raleigh, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

     

    As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, providing a dynamic work experience where your presence and professionalism contribute to a positive atmosphere. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.     Thur05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

     

    Fri05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

     

    Sat05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.

    + Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

    + Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.

    + Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel.

    + Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of policy.

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + An armed guard card or license is preferred.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
