As a **Security Professional Armed Transportation Patrol Officer** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or security-related hazards within transportation environments.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and the public.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies.

+ Adhere to all site-specific protocols, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms, in accordance with legal and company standards.

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
