As a **Security Professional Retail Mall Patrol Specialist** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the area in a vehicle while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assist with inquiries, and communicate clearly with both team members and the public. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow as required.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious behavior or circumstances.

+ Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and provide a welcoming environment for all patrons.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
