As a **Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Security** in **Waialua, HI** , you’ll serve on the front line of aviation security—ensuring public safety, safeguarding airport facilities, and upholding the spirit of aloha through professional service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Position Type: Part Time - Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, **all applicants must meet the following criteria** :

+ **2+ years of professional law enforcement experience** in the U.S. _after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy_ (Federal, State, or County level)

+ Must provide **valid and verifiable credentials** at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements:

+ **Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)**

+ **Valid Driver's License**

+ **Law Enforcement Officer License**

+ **22+ years of age**

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.

+ Support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during the shift.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or situations requiring immediate attention.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least two years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections is required.

+ A current armed guard card or license is required.

+ A law enforcement officer license is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
