    Senior HVAC Control Specialist – Full-Time

     

    We are looking for an experienced **Senior HVAC Control Specialist** to lead the maintenance, programming, and optimization of HVAC and building automation systems in a large-scale commercial or institutional setting. This is a full-time, advanced technical role focused on system performance, energy efficiency, and integration of complex controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Program, configure, and maintain Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS)

    + Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC controls, system communications, and sequences of operation

    + Analyze system data to improve efficiency and performance

    + Lead commissioning and retro-commissioning efforts

    + Support integration of new systems and upgrades

    + Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams on projects

    + Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 4 years of HVAC experience with increasing responsibility in controls and system integration

    + EPA Universal Certification

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Class A or B HVAC license

    + Experience with BAS platforms and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks

    + Strong programming skills using graphical and script-based BAS interfaces

    + Manufacturer-specific BAS certifications

    + Associate degree or higher in HVAC, engineering technology, or related field
