We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with state and federal health and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
+ Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned centers to ensure safe, operational facilities.
+ Respond to work orders promptly, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruption to learning.
+ Assist with setup, cleaning, and preparation of classrooms and shared spaces as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing standards, and Head Start Performance Standards.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who is:
+ Experienced in general building maintenance and repair.
+ Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to facility needs.
+ Knowledgeable of safety, health, and building codes.
+ Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
+ Flexible and collaborative, with a commitment to supporting children and families.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma, GED, or HSED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks safely.
+ Pass a physical exam and background check.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
