Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist to join their dynamic team. As a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist

**Location:** Chesterfield, MO

Pay Range: $22-$26/hr

**Shift:** 6am-2pm

What's the Job?

+ Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills to machine metal components with precision.

+ Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure optimal machine performance.

+ Fabricate custom fixtures to support machining operations as needed.

+ Load and secure materials into fixtures or vises for milling and turning processes.

+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and perform quality checks to meet blueprint specifications.

What's Needed?

+ Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

+ Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and efficiently during the 2nd shift.
