CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)

Pay Range:** $20.00 – $30.00/hour + **15% shift differential

**Location:** Dayton, Ohio

**Employment Type:** Full-time

Summary:

Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to perform complex setups and operations on CNC equipment. This role involves troubleshooting programs, maintaining tooling, training team members, and ensuring parts meet quality and ISO standards. May also operate CMM equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Setup and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs, etc.)

+ Interpret blueprints and specifications

+ Perform precision measurements and inspections

+ Troubleshoot machining issues and edit CNC programs

+ Train and mentor team members

+ Support continuous improvement and 6S initiatives

+ Assist with tooling, fixturing, and miscellaneous production tasks

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 5–10 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Proficient in G & M codes, GD&T, blueprint reading

+ Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

+ Leadership and mentoring skills preferred

Work Environment:

+ Production setting with moderate to high noise levels

+ Occasional exposure to weather (for specific roles)
