    Senior Human Resources Generalist

    _Ensuring Chart’s Success…_

     

    The Senior HR Generalist will work collaboratively with HR Centers of Expertise and other HR staff providing direction, support, coordination, and execution of human resources initiatives for our Tulsa division.

     

    _What Will You Do?_

    Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    + Drive continuous improvement in HR’s strategic value to the business.

    + Lead and coordinate training initiatives for managers and employees to ensure understanding of Chart’s Code of Conduct, compliance requirements, positive employee relations, and other company-wide programs and policies.

    + Administer and support employee benefit programs in collaboration with the Centers of Expertise (COE).

    + Champion the HR strategy and influence key stakeholders to align with organizational goals.

    + Contribute to the successful execution of the HR business plan.

    + Support the implementation of Chart’s HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    + Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including partnering with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, posting positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and Chart’s Strategic Staffing Model.

    + Facilitate Onboarding and conduct New Hire Orientations

    + Investigate and resolve employee relations matters, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns.

    + Participate in discipline and termination processes, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies across the organization.

    + Monitor and recommend action plans to ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs, addressing areas of under-representation.

    + Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and employee development.

    + Collaborate with leadership to maintain a positive, union-free work environment in non-union locations.

    + Uphold Chart’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards.

    + Ensure all compliance of employee records to meet internal and external customer expectations.

    + Indoor office environment

    + Frequent standing, sitting, walking.

    + **This position is classified as safety sensitive.** Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols.     _Your Experience Should Be..._

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in HR or a business-related discipline

    + 8 - 10 years relevant experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in HR or a business-related discipline

    + 6+ years of experience in progressive HR roles (industrial, manufacturing, and multiple locations)

    + Previous Lean or Six Sigma experience

    Interpersonal Skills

    + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data

    + Ability to write in a clear and concise manner

    + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

    + Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

    + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide solutions/conclusions

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Technical Skills

    + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Internet, and Email

    + Experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors a plus)

    + Mathematical skills

    + Other Skills

    + Knowledge of legislation affecting HR in multiple states

    Essential Functions

    + The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual

    + The ability to read and understand documents and drawings

    + The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers

    + The ability to perform several tasks at once

    + The ability to follow directions or instructions
