    Our client, a leader in the data center technology infrastructure industry, is seeking a Sr. Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Construction Safety Manager, you will be part of the Construction and Safety Department supporting hyperscale data center projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety management, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Sr. Construction Safety Manager

    **Location:** Santa Clara, CA

    **Pay Range:** $84-92/hourly

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Ensure compliance with Microsoft's global construction safety requirements across multiple projects.

    + Conduct regular site observations and compile detailed safety reports to identify areas for improvement.

    + Participate actively in planning meetings, including project, task, and daily safety briefings, to integrate safety considerations into all phases of construction.

    + Guide and educate General Contractor (GC) leadership on safety best practices and foster a safety-first culture.

    + Engage with stakeholders across various teams to promote continuous safety improvements and industry best practices.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Preferred certifications such as Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

    + 10+ years of experience in health and safety management within construction or project environments, especially hyperscale data centers.

    + Proven ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners, demonstrating professionalism and relationship-building skills.

    + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and foster collaboration among diverse teams.

    + Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices in construction safety management.
