Senior Financial Manager (Multiple position)
Camden, NJ- Hybrid role
6+ month contract with high potential for extension
Pay range: $40 - $50/hr
Note: HYBRID (Onsite M, F & Remote T, W, Th)
Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm OR 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Manager III to join our organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead financial reporting, analysis, and planning efforts to ensure the company's long-term financial health. Your expertise will guide key decision-making, drive process improvements, and strengthen financial strategies across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and provide clear interpretations to support informed decision-making.
Offer expert advice on investment activities and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Monitor and maintain the organization’s financial health by analyzing costs, pricing strategies, sales performance, and variances against business plans.
Develop financial trends, forecasts, and projections to inform strategic planning and business growth.
Conduct cost reviews and evaluations to identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Lead the finance department by setting goals, designing operational frameworks, and ensuring effective achievement of objectives.
Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with statutory legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Drive process improvements through financial modeling, scenario planning, and dashboard creation to streamline reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain finance (bonus if applicable), to enhance financial strategies and operational performance.
Utilize advanced Excel skills, including complex functions and modeling, to support data-driven decision-making.
Communicate complex financial insights clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required
Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are highly preferred.
5 or more years of progressive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and develop innovative financial solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Deep expertise in Excel and proficiency in financial modeling tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
