    Overview

    **Position:** Patient Care Technician (PCT)

    **Location:** Select Specialty Hospital Phoenix, AZ, inside Banner University in the 2nd tower on the 11th floor

    **Schedule:** Full-time Nightshift- 6:30pm-6:30am

    **Compensation:** $20.11 - 25.50 (depending on years of experience)

    **Sign-On Bonus:** $3,000

    Responsibilities

    + Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

    + Participate in hourly rounds

    + Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

    + Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

    + Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition

    + Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

    + BLS is required within 90 days of hire

    + Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
