    PRN Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics

    **Location:** Multiple HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness Centers in WV & Western PA

    **Schedule:** Per Diem / As Needed (Weekdays, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

    **Compensation:** Competitive, based on experience

    We’re currently hiring licensed **PRN Physical Therapist Assistants** with outpatient experience to provide flexible coverage across our orthopedic centers. This opportunity is ideal for PTAs seeking a dynamic work environment with the freedom to choose when and where they work.

    Our Locations Include:

    + Blacksville, WV

    + Cheat Lake, WV

    + Fairmont, WV

    + Morgantown, WV

    + Smithfield, PA

    + Westover, WV

     

    Our centers operate Monday through Friday, between **8:00 AM and 7:00 PM** . PRN PTA coverage is scheduled based on team needs and your availability—no fixed schedule required. Coverage may include support for increased patient volume, vacations, sick leave, or emergency staffing.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

    + CPR certification
