Expressive Therapist

Salary & Benefits:
$1750 Sign-On Bonus for new Hire! (paid in 2 installments at 3 months and 6 months with successful completion of Orientation)
$1500 Referral Bonus for current Staff!
Salary Range: $31.68-36.43 hour
Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage. Paid vacation, holidays and sick time. 401k with employer matching, supervision, training, advancement opportunities and many more.
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday -9am-2pm, Thursday -10am-4pm, Friday -9am-2pm (25hours/week)
Essential Job Functions:
• Facilitate individual and group expressive therapy sessions using various creative modalities (art, music, movement, drama, etc.).
• Develop and implement group lessons plans tailored to the unique needs and goals.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment where clients feel free to express themselves.
• Collaborate with other team members, including behavior analysts, Person-Centered Plan Managers, and educators, to provide holistic care and support.
• Track and document progress, ensuring all records are kept confidential and up to date.
• Provide guidance and support to individuals and staff members in understanding the therapeutic process and benefits of expressive therapy.
Qualifications:
• A licensed or certified Expressive Arts Therapist, or a related credential with experience working in therapeutic settings.
• Experienced in using creative therapies to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
• A strong communicator, both with individuals and within interdisciplinary teams.
• Creative, resourceful, and able to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Passionate about promoting inclusion, empowerment, and self-expression for individuals of all abilities.
